Raleigh, North Carolina                             January, 2023

Welcome to the DogGoneFast Winter WufFest!

Thank you for your entries; we have 30 teams and we will have 1 ring.  Please check the other links on our web site for seed chart, racing schedule, detailed directions/maps. Please note that we will not have a food vendor at our event. There are fast food locations within a reasonable drive and we will provide maps at the head table. The fairgrounds is a busy location so please keep a watchful eye on your possessions, be observant of the crating areas, and let me know if you see any issues.

Racing Format

The Racing Format is described on the seed chart. Warm-ups will be 120 seconds on both days.  Warm-up time may be reduced if necessary. Please use the assigned doors for entering and exiting the ring and do not cross behind the lanes while teams are racing.

We will be using flyball geek website to provide online access to ring assignments. Jeremy Meeler will set up his pass-call cameras again! Thanks to Jeremy for helping with the necessary WiFi setup to make it all work so well.

Remember that you must advise the judge if you want a practice start before the warmup period has completed.

Judges and Acting RD

Our judges will be Chris Carr and Dirk Elber. Please thank our judges!

Teresa Pownall will be the acting RD for the flyball weekend. Thank you!

Venue Information

The Holshouser building will be open until 8pm on Friday night; you may drop off your flyball boxes if you wish.
There will be no indoor crating.

Friday night racing

We are holding Single Dog Racing on Friday night again!  5 minutes for $5. You may run against someone or unopposed. Please note that reserving both lanes will be $10. We have received permission to use the NAFA EJS during the Single Dog Racing. We expect to start the SDR by 5pm.
